Appellant Blue was the first of three co-defendants tried separately on charges arising from events of the early morning hours of October 16, 1980. Blue, a 16-year-old juvenile certified for adult prosecution, was indicted for first-degree murder, attempted first-degree criminal sexual conduct, second-degree criminal sexual conduct, kidnapping, and aggravated robbery.1 The jury found Blue guilty as charged on all counts...
