This action is an application for a writ of mandamus to compel the issuance of a building permit. The plaintiffs, Kofkoff Egg Farms, Ltd., and Samuel Kofkoff individually, sought an order requiring the defendant Donald C. Johnson, building official of the town of Lebanon, to issue a permit for the construction of certain buildings on the plaintiffs' property in Lebanon.
