On June 16, 1975, a car owned and operated by Sharon Wyche was involved in an accident in the City of Albany. Albany Yellow Cab Co. (Yellow Cab), the owner of the other car involved, thereupon instituted an action for property damage in Albany County against Wyche by personal service of a summons and complaint.
