CYNAR, J.

Following a nonjury trial held on February 5 through 9, 1981, defendant was convicted of first-degree murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548, assault with intent to murder, MCL 750.83; MSA 28.278, and two counts of felony-firearm, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). On March 5, 1981, defendant was sentenced to a term of life imprisonment for murder, life for assault with intent to murder, and two years for each felony-firearm count. He appeals as of right.
