Plaintiffs-appellants, who were the owners of a restaurant, the Aspen Inn, sued the Columbus Monthly Publishing Corporation, its owner, its editor and two writers for libel for the written publication of a critical article about the Aspen Inn in the January 1979 issue. Defendants-appellees denied liability and asserted various affirmative defenses. By agreement of counsel, plaintiffs limited their evidence to the issue of liability following which defendants...
