The owner of the urea, appellant Banco Nacional De Nicaragua ("Banco Nacional"), filed suit against the insurer of the cargo, appellee Argonaut Insurance Company ("Argonaut"), alleging that a large quantity of the urea had been lost or damaged on the voyage or during the unloading of the vessel.
