The defendants, W. Darrell Zang and Louis Porter, were convicted by a jury of one count of conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 371), six counts of mail fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1341 and § 2), eight counts of wire fraud (18 U.S.C. § 1343 and § 2), and one count of racketeering (18 U.S.C. § 1962(a), § 1963, and § 2).
