On July 24, 1979, the plaintiff, Fire Supply & Service, Inc., filed an action against the defendant, Chico Hot Springs, in Park County District Court to recover delinquent payments under the terms of a lease the parties had made for the installation and maintenance of a fire alarm system at the Chico Hot Springs resort hotel. Chico Hot Springs counterclaimed for the return of all monies paid under the lease, arguing that Fire Supply had installed...
