Compensability is the issue in this workers' compensation case. The question is whether a ruptured intervertebral disc is causally related to an earlier disc injury and operation at a different level and, therefore, compensable. The Workers' Compensation Board (Board) affirmed the referee's opinion and order upholding denial of the claim, and claimant petitions for review.
