A number of related actions brought to recover damages for wrongful seizure were consolidated for purposes of this appeal.1 These actions will be referred to throughout the remainder of this opinion by their trial court docket numbers. This Court will render separate judgments in each of these cases for the reasons expressed in this opinion.
