These two consolidated cases arise out of single vehicular accidents on La. Highway 19, within the city limits of Zachary, Louisiana. In each case, the plaintiff-driver inadvertently drove off of the highway onto the shoulder, lost control of the vehicle, and thereafter sustained the losses complained of.
