This is an action ex delicto in which Treiba McLeod sued the Parish of East Baton Rouge and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for personal injury damages sustained as the result of an automobile accident. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development was dismissed from the suit by motion for summary judgment, on the grounds that Irene Road is a parish road and is not a part of the state highway system...
