Under the provisions of a disability policy insuring against injury or sickness, plaintiff Ellis T. Laborde obtained a judgment in the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans requiring the defendant-insurer, Employer's Life Insurance Company, to pay him $200 per month for life.
