Appellant was stopped by a state trooper for traffic violations. Lying in plain view in the back seat of appellant's automobile were three new tires bearing the name and address of a local automotive accessories distributor. Subsequent search of the automobile pursuant to a warrant revealed five more new tires bearing identical markings, and a new battery of a type carried by the distributor.
