DONNELLY, Judge.

The defendant appeals from his conviction of involuntary manslaughter contrary to § 30-2-3(B), N.M.S.A. 1978, and attempted second degree murder, contrary to §§ 30-2-1 and 30-28-1, N.M.S.A. 1978.

On appeal the defendant raises four issues: (1) error in allowing the state to cross-examine him concerning his "other than honorable" discharge from military service; (2) error in the admission of photographs taken...
