Plaintiffs brought this malpractice action based on a fracture which plaintiff Jacob Waatti suffered while being treated in the emergency room of Marquette General Hospital. The trial court directed a verdict in favor of all the defendants at the close of the plaintiffs' proofs on the ground that the plaintiffs had failed to present evidence of the applicable standard of care and thus had failed to present a question for the jury.
