Sergeant Irvin Trahan was dismissed from the Jennings, Louisiana Police Department on June 13, 1980. Trahan appealed his dismissal to the City of Jennings Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board (hereafter the Board). The Board conducted a hearing and sustained Trahan's dismissal.
