This is a property damage case resulting from an automobile accident. Plaintiff, Benny W. O'Brian, sued his insurance carrier, Allstate Insurance Company, pursuant to a contract of insurance between the parties. The case arose from a dispute as to the actual cash value of plaintiff's 1971 customized Dodge van. The trial court originally awarded plaintiff $3,500.00 for property damage, $363.00 for loss of use of the van, $2,000.00 for attorney's fees...
