COWART, Judge.

An "auxiliary deputy sheriff" as defined in section 943.10(6), Florida Statutes (1981), is a "law enforcement officer" within the meaning of section 784.07, Florida Statutes (1981), prohibiting the assault or battery of law enforcement officers.
