This is an appeal from a suit brought by Lois Stice to recover the proceeds of an insurance policy on the life of her deceased husband issued by Connecticut General Life Insurance Company (Connecticut General) through her employer, American National Life Insurance Company (American National). Additionally, she sought treble damages from American National for engaging in deceptive and misleading practices under the insurance code. The jury answered...
