This decision is the outgrowth of a motion to suppress evidence seized in a warrantless search of an aircraft in the early morning hours of December 23, 1981 at Alexander Hamilton International Airport, St. Croix. As the result of the search, nearly 800 pounds of marijuana were seized, and the Defendant faces multiple charges, both federal and territorial, involving importation and possession of a controlled substance...
