The petitioner, Jeffrey A. Bailey, is before this Court appealing from the denial of his petition for permission to file a belated motion to correct error. Post-Conviction Relief, Rule 2. On June 19, 1972, defendant pled guilty to the offense of second-degree murder. Ind. Code § 35-13-4-1 (Burns 1975).
