In this worker's compensation case the trial court awarded the employee total permanent disability benefits as a result of coal worker's pneumoconiosis. The employer appeals, challenging the sufficiency of the evidence and the applicability of a 1972 amendment to the Federal Coal Mine Health and Safety Act of 1969.
