Eugene Paredas Gonzales was convicted of murder in a trial by jury and sentenced to a term of forty-five years. On appeal he contends that the evidence is insufficient to support the conviction, that the court erred in refusing to charge on the lesser included offenses of involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and criminally negligent homicide, and that his confession was improperly admitted.
