Defendants Gregory Chaney and Johnny Herman were charged by bills of information with two counts each of armed robbery in violation of La.R.S. 14:64. After joint trial by jury, defendants were found guilty of two counts of simple robbery. Defendant Chaney was sentenced to serve five years at hard labor on each count.
