The 59-year-old respondent was admitted to practice in the Second Department on November 1, 1944, under the name Ira Schlusselberg. In December, 1981 he was convicted on plea of guilty in United States District Court for the Southern District of New York of four counts of mail fraud, for which he was sentenced to fines totaling $4,000 and concurrent prison terms of 30 months.
