This workmen's compensation case arises out of a wrongful death action against the personal representative of the estate of Santiago D. Salazar (Salazar), and the City of Santa Fe (City). Salazar's personal representative filed a workmen's compensation action against the City and Western Insurance Company which was severed from other claims for purposes of trial.
