Defendant, Elton G. Hargrave, Jr., was indicted by the Jefferson Davis Parish grand jury of negligent homicide (La.R.S. 14:32). He waived his right to a jury trial and was found guilty as charged. The trial court sentenced him to three years at hard labor, but suspended the sentence and placed defendant on supervised probation for a period of three years. In addition the defendant's driver's license was suspended...
