On January 6, 1982, Governor Graham signed a death warrant for Ernest John Dobbert, and on January 7, 1982, Dobbert filed a motion to vacate his death sentence. He later filed an addendum to his motion to vacate, and after a hearing, the trial court denied Dobbert's motion.
