This is an appeal from a judgment entered on a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff, Juan Manuel Brown. Appellee sued appellant, First National Bank of McAllen, for conversion of his 1977 Chevrolet Caprice automobile and for exemplary damages. Appellant counterclaimed for the amount owing on a loan on which appellee had defaulted. The jury awarded appellee $3,500.00 in actual damages and $3,900.00 in punitive damages. The jury did...
