The appellant was charged by indictment with aggravated robbery, alleged to have occurred on May 1, 1980. Thereafter, counsel was appointed, the cause was reset, and on June 30, 1980 the appellant filed an affidavit claiming that he committed an extraneous offense on April 22, 1980.
