Connie Orrison was indicted by the grand jury for negligent homicide, former AS 11.15.080, and convicted by a trial jury of the lesser included offense of desertion or nonsupport, former AS 11.35.010. Briefly, Orrison, her friend, Robert Douglas Jolley, and Orrison's three children resided together in Fairbanks between October and December of 1979.
