In the unusual posture of appellant, the government appeals from an order of the District Court for the Southern District of Florida granting the defendant's motion to suppress. The defendant, Edward Allen Schuster, challenged the warrantless search of his girlfriend's apartment which produced evidence eventually leading to his arrest for possession and distribution of counterfeit currency, 18 U.S.C. §§ 472 and 473.
