Defendants filed a joint motion to suppress evidence seized from Room 535 of the Westin Hotel on October 14, 1981 (doc. 20, CR-1-81-94). On that date, defendants were occupying Room 535. During the evening of October 14, defendant Gravier was arrested by federal agents in the Westin's piano bar just prior to defendant Bustamante-Cuadros' (Bustamante) arrest in Room 535.
