On May 7, 1980, in the Recorder's Court for the City of Detroit defendant pled guilty to the charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than the crime of murder and carrying a firearm during the commission or attempted commission of a felony, MCL 750.84, 750.227b; MSA 28.279, 28.424(2).
