The defendant was charged, tried, and found guilty of the 24th of March, 1981 murder of Junior Foods Store clerk Janice Brooks in Roanoke. She was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The defendant's only issue on appeal concerns itself with several questions propounded to her by the State on cross examination. Prior to trial, she had obtained a ruling from the trial court on a "motion in limine" prohibiting...
