The plaintiff, Andrew Voison, was an employee of third-party defendant Rig Hammers. When injured, he was supervisor of a casing crew working aboard the OCEAN PRIDE, a jackup drilling rig, off the coast of Texas. The OCEAN PRIDE was owned by defendant O.D.E.C.O. Drilling, Inc.
