Defendant, David D. Lewis, was convicted by a jury of four counts of possession of controlled dangerous substances, La.R.S. 40:967(C), 40:968(C), and sentenced to five years imprisonment at hard labor concurrently on each count. The sentences were suspended, defendant was placed on supervised probation for five years, and a fine of $1,000 was assessed.
