This is a workers' compensation case. Officer Walter D. Lowe, Sr., who was employed by the Sherwood, Arkansas Police Department, was killed in an automobile accident on Wednesday, November 13, 1979. At the time of his death, Officer Lowe was in uniform and riding his personal motorcycle which was equipped with police blue lights.
