Freeman Hair was killed in a logging accident on November 16, 1979, while employed by John Wayne Hedgpeth. At the time of the accident Hair was working within the scope of his employment. The appellant, Hedgpeth, did not have insurance in compliance with the Mississippi Workmen's Compensation Act nor was he a self-insurer within the defines of the act.
