Plaintiff-appellant, Marilou Petrie, is presently a Turpin High School Spanish teacher under continuing contract with the Forest Hills School District of Hamilton County, and has been for a number of years. On the morning of January 31, 1980, while driving to school, she was involved in an automobile accident at an intersection in the village of Newtown, Hamilton County.
