HUNTER, Justice.

The defendant, Jerome Williams, was convicted by the court of attempted murder. Ind. Code § 35-42-1-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.); Ind. Code § 35-41-5-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.). He was sentenced to a period of twenty years in the Indiana Department of Correction. In his direct appeal, he presented the following issues for our review:

1. Whether the trial court erred when it permitted the state to introduce evidence seized via a juvenile waiver...
