Plaintiff-appellant, Bertha Palazzo Matherne, instituted this suit for damages against defendant-appellee New Orleans Public Service (NOPSI), and its employee Eugene C. Temple, Sr., for injuries she received while a passenger on a bus owned by NOPSI and operated by Temple.
