This criminal appeal arises from the fatal stabbing of Peter Lombardi, an inmate at the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI), on February 28, 1975. In connection with this incident a grand jury returned an indictment against William H. Anthony, John A. DePari, and Robert M.
