Appellant Alvin Lovelace was charged with the June 25, 1981 aggravated robbery of the 7-11 convenience store at 1803 Broadway in Little Rock. A jury convicted appellant of aggravated robbery in violation of Ark.Stat.Ann. § 41-2102 (Supp. 1981) and he was sentenced to life imprisonment under the habitual criminal statute, Ark.Stat.Ann. § 41-1001 (Supp. 1981).
