FEDERICI, Justice.

This case involves the issue of the propriety of the assignment of a lease. Chalamidas (lessor) and the Cowans (lessees) entered into a commercial lease in 1976. The lease agreement permitted lessees to sell their interest under the lease in accordance with certain terms of the lease.
