This is an action for patent infringement arising under the patent laws of the United States, Title 35 of the United States Code. The suit was filed on April 19, 1977 and alleged infringement by defendant's data terminal belt printers (i.e., "TermiNet") of United States Patent Number 2,936,704 granted May 17, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as the '704 Patent).
