Petitioner, Lupe Silva, seeks federal habeas corpus relief pursuant to Section 2254 of Title 28, United States Code. Silva was convicted in a Texas jury trial of the offense of aggravated robbery and sentenced to life imprisonment, his punishment enhanced because of two prior felony convictions.
