Helen Charpentier and her daughter, Gwen Charpentier Hardy, (plaintiffs) brought this tort action to recover damages for personal injuries suffered by Gwen in two separate falls, one of which occurred at Cecilia High School, and the other on a school bus. Plaintiffs also sought to recover all medical expenses incurred by them for treatment of those injuries.
