We have before us what appears to be a matter of first impression in this Commonwealth concerning an aspect of family law recently in the fore: joint custody. Specifically, we have been asked to order a joint-custodial arrangement over the vigorous objections of the mother. We have done so, and an appeal from that order having been taken, we explain our reasons.
